Description

Transmit measurement signals stably and in a system-compliant manner

The MX8031 Extension Cable is an extension cable specifically developed for eddy current measurement systems to connect the proximity probe and the driver or transmitter.

It ensures that the high-frequency sensor signal is transmitted with low loss and without interference – a crucial prerequisite for precise vibration and position measurement.

The triaxial cable design with defined impedance (75 Ω) ensures high signal quality even over longer cable runs. In combination with the VibeLock™ connectors, it creates a mechanically stable and electrically reliable connection that proves particularly effective in vibration-prone environments.

The cable is available in various lengths and can be supplied with additional stainless steel armoring depending on the application. This makes it suitable for harsh industrial conditions, high mechanical stress, and applications with increased demands for temperature and media resistance.

As an integral component of an API 670-compliant measurement system, the extension cable directly influences overall accuracy. The MX8031 ensures that the system characteristics are maintained and that measurement results are reproducible and comparable – even when replacing or retrofitting existing systems.
