Description

Mount reverse-mount probes quickly, reproducibly, and reliably

The kmo probe holder KS016 is a proven mounting device for reverse-mount eddy current probes in plain-bearing machinery.

It was developed for quick, easy, and reproducible installation, allowing for precise adjustment of the measuring gap while offering a robust, oil-tight, and vibration-proof design.

Thanks to the fine-adjustable setting block, standardized adjustment sleeves, and a defined reference surface, the measuring point can be reliably set up and reinstalled without readjustment after correct removal. Even in challenging installation situations, mounting can be done using an optional housing screw with a reference surface.

KS016 reduces installation effort, sources of error, variety of versions, and spare part costs. The holder is compatible with standard reverse-mount probes, including those with M10x1 mm and 3/8"-24 UNF threads.

Relevant practical questions and further guidance

Our FAQs provide initial guidance. If you want to delve deeper, contact us – the real solutions emerge through dialogue.

Warum lohnt sich der Einsatz einer KS016 statt einer Standardhalterung?

Weil KS016 reproduzierbare Messstellen schafft, Montagefehler reduziert und typische Probleme wie Drift oder Kabelbrüche sicher vermeidet.

What are the benefits of the B1 housing screw in retrofit situations?

The housing screw B1 provides a precisely defined reference surface when the housing itself does not have a suitable datum feature or one cannot be economically manufactured.
When in use, an additional insertion depth of 27 mm must be considered for the installation length.

What is the freely positionable connection head for?

It protects and insulates the cable connection, prevents tight bends, and provides room for internal cable management, which significantly increases its lifespan.

How can damage to the sensitive probe tip be avoided?

By using the integrated protective cap, which can be stored directly in the connector head – always at hand and without additional small parts that can get lost.
