Description
Reliably shut down machines when vibration is excessively high
The PT500 is an electromechanical vibration switch for simple and robust machine monitoring. If vibration exceeds the set limit, an inertia-sensitive mechanism actuates internal microswitches, triggering an alarm or shutdown.
A significant practical advantage is the integrated start-up delay. This ignores elevated vibrations during start-up, allowing the trip value to be set closer to the actual operating range.
Unlike complex electronic monitoring systems, the PT500 is intentionally simple and robust. This is often a decisive advantage, especially for standard machinery or harsh environmental conditions.
Thanks to numerous approvals, various contact options, and universal mounting possibilities, the PT500 is suitable for both new installations and for replacing existing mechanical vibration switches.
